About the role

We are searching for an engaged Junior Events Manager, who is eager to grow in an energetic and fast-paced environment. Your purpose as a Junior Events Manager consists in proposing, organizing, leading, and improving all the Events at ICE Society.

You must achieve this by being proactive, reliable, and confident. As an Events Manager, you must take responsibility for your team, and enable the purpose of ICE Society by having successful events. Your duty stands in flourishing our reputation, through memorable events that will enable ICE Society to correctly transmit its core message.

You will be able to join our team consisting of motivated, young, friendly, and ambitious members willing to make a real, measurable impact. Furthermore, you will be given the opportunity of learning more than in any corporation with hands-on experience and tailored support from the executive team. What you will be doing

  • You will be in constant contact with the executive team to brainstorm on possible Events, adding value by proposing the most convenient locations, venues, logistics, contact suppliers, contractors.
  • Identifying the most beneficial Events for the company, being: promotional, business, or social events.
  • Working in collaboration with the Marketing department to ensure that the events are well promoted and heard of, also organize the team to produce marketing material from the events, showcasing the brand image.
  • Contacting guests, speakers, making sure the audience stays engaged and interested. Coordinate suppliers, handle client queries and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly and to budget.
  • Reviewing and analysing what went well, what didn’t after the event, collecting feedback, and finding strategies to improve the event.

What you will need to have

Hard Skills:

  • A Basic Understanding of Events
  • Knowledge as well as experience with a variety of Event organizational tools such as: Trello, Eventbrite, Slack, Zoom Events, Whova, etc.
  • Experience in establishing realistic Budgets
  • Time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Previous experience with Event organization
